What is Acro Yogiology and why should I do it?
First of all, do you love yoga, but also have a secret desire to be an acrobat, or maybe to swing from the bars like a gymnast? Are you wanting a yoga style workout which, seems like fun, but in addition, leaves you feeling strong, toned, full of positive energy and ready to tackle the world?
Acro Yogiology combines acrobatics, yoga, and healing arts. The practice of Acro Yogiology incorporates strength, flexibility and technique training.
CORE STRENGTH Most noteworthy Acro Yogiology requires a lot of core strength, therefore you will quickly develop that strength if you currently lack in that area.
KINESTHETIC AWARENESS Especially relevant is that you will develop an awareness of your body and how it moves through space that’s difficult to learn from other pursuits.
MUSCLE BUILDING Most of all you will build muscles in the legs, arms and chest. Acro Yogiology is a body-building workout that will make an impressive difference to your physique.
STRETCHING Stretching is a big component of Acro Yogiology. You will develop flexibility through performing holds and moves.
Acro Yogiology elevates the connection between you and others through movement, connection, and play.
Can’t do a handstand, or even touch your toes? No big deal. Acro Yoga is a practice of substance, not flash. You’ll learn necessary building blocks to literally take whatever physical skills you have to new heights.

Fundamentals, Statics, Dynamics, Combos – This combinations of four aspects are guaranteed to take your training to the next level.
Calisthenics are exercises consisting of a variety of gross motor movements—running, standing, grasping, pushing, etc. — often performed rhythmically and with minimal equipment, so essentially, bodyweight exercises.
They increase body strength, body fitness, and flexibility, through movements such as pulling or pushing oneself up, bending, jumping, or swinging, using only one’s body weight for resistance; usually conducted in concert with stretches.
When performed vigorously and with variety, calisthenics can provide the benefits of muscular and aerobic conditioning, in addition to improving psychomotor skills such as balance, agility and coordination.
Many consider calisthenics as “movement through space”, meaning you can move freely without any restriction blocking your full strength.
